She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Bonvillain and Louise Leonard Robichaux; and her brother Carrol Bonvillain. She is survived by: her husband Virgy A. Estay; her children, Rodney Estay (Darlene), Kevin Estay (Claudia) and Peggy Pitre (Ronald); her grandchildren, Melanie (Kevin), Shaun (Leslie), Karly (Tyler), Thea (Brent), Marcel, Reneé, Katrina and Krystal (Marco); and her daughter-in-law Sylvia Estay. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Mary Nativity Church (3500 LA-1, Raceland, LA 70394). A Mass was held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at the St. Mary Cemetery (3500 LA-1, Raceland, LA 70394).
In lieu of flowers, Mass intentions are preferred.
