He is survived by: his wife Joanna F. Chauvin; his children, Ridley P. Chauvin, Jr. and Simone R. Chauvin (Jerome Marcell); his sisters, Theresa Roundtree, Jeanette Eiland, Eva McKee and Agnes Cheramie; and his grandson Blake Peter Chauvin.
