With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tara Lynn Theriot of Raceland, Louisiana, born in Thibodaux, Louisiana, who passed away on October 2, 2025 at the age of 53. She was predeceased by: her father Leander Perk, Jr.; and her in-laws, Donald and Juanita Theriot. She is survived by: her husband John Theriot; her daughter Sarah Theriot; her pet Victor James; her mother Yvonne Kelly Perk; her sisters, Monika Leger (Edwin Jr.) and Vicki Perk-Fields (Jon); and her siblings-in-law, Michael, Donald (Susan), Jody, Jerome and Ann. She is also survived by ten nephews, eight nieces, two great-nephews, and five great-nieces.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Rosary Church (12911 E Main St, Larose, LA 70373). A Mass will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Holy Rosary Cemetery (12911 E Main St, Larose, LA 70373).
