He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Young and Beulah Williams; his son Aldridge Young; his siblings, Melvin Williams and Maggie Young Jackson; and his brothers-in-law, Henry Spears, Ernest Jackson, Jr. and James Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Beulah Van Norman and Clarence Walter Young; his grandchildren, Barbara Monique Dunn, Jazobe Young and Jeremy Reed; his great grandchild Jahzara Monique Dunn; his stepdaughters, Deanna Ford and Lacey Lejeunne; and his siblings, James Lee Young (Yolanda), Georgia Williams Spears, Nellie Young Jones, Carrie Williams Reado (Terry) and Zelina Young Folse (Alfred). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
