He was predeceased by: his son Kerry Menard; his father Lennis Menard (Rita Menard); and his brothers, Amos Menard and Percy Menard. He is survived by: his wife Berna Doucet Menard; his sons, Keith Menard (Toni) and Kevin Menard (Dana); his brother Larry Menard (Carolyn); his daughter-in-law Genevieve Menard; his grandchildren, Leigh Ann Menard, Brittany Menard Boudreaux (Logan), Chase Menard, Ryan Menard, Brooke Menard Heathcock (Shaun) and Braylyn Menard; and his great grandchildren, Gage, Jaxton and Weston.
