In loving memory of Almeda Fay Hoffpauir LeDoux (Rayne, Louisiana), who departed this world on October 29, 2025 at the age of 99. Almeda leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father James Hoffpauir (Papa Jim); her husband Robert Gordon LeDoux; her parent Fadra Morgan Hoffpauir (Mama Fay); her son-in-law Errol Faulk; and her siblings, Nell Savoy, Elwood, Macon, Ufford, Richard and Huey Hoffpauir.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wanda L. Faulk of Indian Bayou, Jeanette L. Morgan of Indian Bayou and Carol LeDoux of Indian Bayou; and her caregivers, Nora Peyton and Vicky Castille. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Indian Bayou Community Church (1029 LA-700, Rayne, LA 70578). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM at the Indian Bayou Community Cemetery (1029 LA-700, Rayne, LA 70578).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Indian Bayou Community Church in her memory.
