He was predeceased by: his wife Violet Perry Gaspard; his grandchildren, Amber Brown and Kyle Brown; his parents, Henry Gaspard and Alice Guidry Gaspard; and his siblings, Beatrice Gaspard, Emery Gaspard and Lenis Gaspard.
He is survived by: his daughters, Darlene Gaspard, Brenda Gaspard Dubois (Richard Dubois) and Rhonda Gaspard Brown (Calvin Guidry); and his son-in-law Eric Brown. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren.
