He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Wilson and Veronique Wilson; his siblings, Lillian Guidroz, Edwin, Willie, Euclide and Fran; and his grandsons, Ronald Bellard Jr. and Joseph Bellard.
He is survived by: his daughters, Winnie Sonnier (Johnny) of Scott and Becky Richard (Kenneth) of Scott; his grandchildren, Damian, Nicholas, Ashley, Amber of Joseph, JR, Veronica, Michelle and JJ; his godchildren, Jeri Landry, Angie Arnaud, Carolyn Coburn and Cindy Normand; and his brother Dudley Wilson of Opelousas. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cypress Funeral Home & Crematory (206 W Lafayette St, Maurice, LA 70555). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery (4833 LA-182, Opelousas, LA 70570).
