She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest "Mulate" Melancon and Enola Melancon. She is survived by: her children, Gwen Bertrand (Philip), Dwayne Dugas, Ellen Stutes (Sonny) and Rachelle Hazlett (Charles); her grandchildren, Ann-Marie Stutes, Emily Stutes, Hannah Bergeron, Maggie Hazlett, Addisyn Hazlett, Ann Elise Fresneda, Mary-Catherine "Kacky" Meaux, Madeline "Matty" Callais, Benjamin Bertrand and Philip Michael Bertrand; and her great grandchildren, Ruthie Meaux, Murphy Meaux, Penelope Fresneda and Jude Fresneda.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 8:00 AM. A rosary was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 6:00 PM.
