She was predeceased by : her mother Ruby Credeur; and her brother John Melancon. She is survived by : her father Maurice Melancon, Sr. of Houston, TX; and her siblings, Jane (Edward Lagrange) of Rayne, Linda (Keith Simon) of Georgia, Maurice Melancon, Jr. of Baton Rouge and Nick Melancon of Rayne.
