He was predeceased by: his son Brett J. Doucet; his parents, Leonce Doucet, Sr. and Hazel B. Doucet; and his siblings, Isabelle Bourque, Ethel D. Menard and Kerney Doucet.

He is survived by: his wife Agnes M. Doucet of Rayne; and his children, LeMonte (Cristina Doucet) of Church Point, Paul (Valerie Doucet) of Seminole, TX, Jodi Richard (Scott Meaux) of Lake Charles and Jaime LeBlanc of Rayne. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
