He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Pryor; his son JD Roy; and his siblings, Beretta Pryor Thibodeaux, Horace Pryor, Claby Pryor and Viola Pryor Guidry.
He is survived by: his children, Ray Roy (Renee), Patrick Roy, Cynthia R. Bourque (Bobby), Darrel Roy (Marguerite), Terry R. Comeaux (Bert), Ira Pryor (Lisa), Randal Pryor (Gemma) and Paula P. Landry (Chad); and his brother Johnny Pryor. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren, numerous great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 8:00 AM at the Duhon Funeral Home - Rayne (900 E Texas Ave, Rayne, LA 70578). A rosary will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (401 S Adams Ave, Rayne, LA 70578).
