He is survived by: his children, Patricia Rodriguez Ortiz (Isaias Ortiz) and Manuel Rodriguez (Leticia Percasteguie); and his grandchildren, Axel Rodriguez (Madison Ortiz), Ashley Nicole Ortiz (Alex Garcia) and Edwin Ortiz Rodriguez (Vanessa Izaguirre). He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
