It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Dale Gaspard (Rayne, Louisiana), who passed away on May 12, 2026, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Wilson, Nola Gaspard, Upton and Marie Broussard. He is survived by: his wife Stacy Arnaud Gaspard; his children, Dorian Gaspard (Jacob), Desiree Gaspard (Josh), Destiny Fontenot (Adam) and Konnor LeBlanc (Katherine LeBlanc); and his parents, Lawrence Gaspard and Elaine Broussard Gaspard. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Gossen Funeral Home Inc. (504 N Polk St, Rayne, LA 70578). A rosary was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (401 S Adams Ave, Rayne, LA 70578).
