He was predeceased by : his former life partner Michi Ratcliff; his parents, Ben Ratcliff and Ruth Ratcliff; and also J. B.. He is survived by : his wife Shirley Ratcliff of Rayville, LA; his son Marcus Ratcliff (Lorrie) of Bixby, OK; his stepsons, Frank Lane of Rayville, LA and Lee Lane (Heather) of Rayville, LA; his grandchildren, Alexa Ratcliff (Conner), Jacob Ratcliff (Ally), Piper Ratcliff, Josie Ratcliff, Mackenzie Arnold (Noah), Lee Lane II and Amy Lane; his great grandchildren, Lydia Palotta, Bishop Ratcliff and Charlotte Ratcliff; and his siblings, Sharon Harris, Willie "Buddy" Ratcliff, Gary Lynn Ratcliff and Nancy Hill (Elvin). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
