It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Charlotte Ann Plakiotis (Rayville, Louisiana), who passed away at the age of 76, on May 8, 2024. In the vast expanse of eternity, Charlotte Ann shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Charlotte Ann farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Manson Buckley "M. B." Fortenberry and Beatrice Powell Fortenberry; her husband Anthony "Tony" James Plakiotis, Sr.; and her brother James "Jim" Lewis Fortenberry. She is survived by : her children, Mary Mizell (Christina) and Anthony James Plakiotis, II of Holly Ridge, LA; her sister Alice Ogles of Holly Ridge, LA; and her grandchildren, Boston Martin and Brady Martin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Rayville Masonic Cemetery (24 Stone St, Rayville, LA 71269).
