It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte Ann Eddins Sims (Rayville, Louisiana), who passed away on February 23, 2026, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William Luther Sims, Jr. (Willie); her parents, William Henry Eddins (Bill) and Charlotte Glover Eddins; and her siblings, William Henry Eddins, Jr. and Jean Eddins Christian.
She is survived by: her children, William Eddie Sims (Robert Bernard) of Baton Rouge, Robert Thomas Sims (Kathy) of West Monroe and Ann Sims Fields (Mark) of Fayetteville, AR; her grandchildren, Rachel Fields Rivet (Josh) of Baton Rouge and Dr. Matthew Steven Fields (Carol) of Memphis, TN; and her great grandchildren, Joshua McClain Rivet, Jr., Vivienne Ann Rivet, William Henry Rivet, Charlotte Marie Fields and Parker Matthew Fields. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
