He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Branch of Rayville, LA; his daughter Sherrie Carter of Rayville, LA; his grandsons, Justin Carter and Mitchell Carter; his sister Edith Traxler; his sister-in-law Carolyn Branch; and his nieces and nephews, Timothy, Kyla, Aaron, Jennifer, Rebekah, Matt, Allison, Greg, Dawn and Melvin. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
