He was predeceased by: his wife Martha "Peewee" Stokes; his parents, Edward Stokes and Eunice Stokes; and his sisters, Carolyn Head (Jerry), Linda Morris (Carl) and Catherine Hill (John).
He is survived by: his children, Eddie Stokes of Rayville, LA and Cathy Jordan (Mike) of Arcadia, LA; and his grandchildren, Jacob Stokes, Brittany Stokes, Magan Bomar (Barry), Hannah Sachs (Tony) and Caleb Mathews. He is also survived by several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
