With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Glenn Ellis Stanley of Rayville, Louisiana, born in Monroe, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 19, 2025 at the age of 64. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Stanly and Elsie Stanly; his brothers, Carl Stanley and William Earl "Buck" Stanley; and his sister-in-law Sharon Tyree Marshall.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Stanley of Rayville, LA; his children, Jordan Stanley, Kristin of Greenville, SC, Jarrett Stanley (Lillie) of Archibald, LA and Lauryn Marshall of Rayville, LA; his grandchildren, Avery Stanley, Grayson Stanley, Nora Stanley, Raylea LeBrun and Michael LeBrun; his siblings, Linda Littleton, Gerald Stanley, Melissa Atkins (Jerry), Alvin Stanley (Rosemary) and Rose Reddick (Michael); and his siblings-in-law, Denise Eppinette (Sid) and Bryan Tyree (Jackie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Start Baptist Church (892 Charleston Dr, Rayville, LA 71279). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
