He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcus Covington, Sr. and Maudie Woods Covington; and his siblings, Joseph Woods Covington, Cora Faye Cadmus and Jacqueline Johnson.
He is survived by: his son Wesley "Wes" Covington; his granddaughter Aubrianna Covington; his fiancée Janice Crenshaw; and his brother Felix Covington (Joyce). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, or Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana or to the charity of your choice.
