In loving memory of Kenneth John Cognevich Sr. (River Ridge, Louisiana), born in Port Sulphur, Louisiana, who departed this world on October 24, 2025 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his wife June Bertoneau Cognevich; his parents, Gertrude Cognevich and George Cognevich; and his siblings, Monica, Christine Cognevich and George Wayne Cognevich, Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth "John" Cognevich, Jr. (Katie Ricks) and Tonya Cognevich Wellman (Greg); and his grandchildren, Kenneth "Kacey" John Cognevich, III, Connor Wellman, Mary Catherine Wellman and Amelie Wellman.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St Matthew the Apostle Church (10021 Jefferson Hwy, River Ridge, LA 70123). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
