It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Langford Meinert of River Ridge, Louisiana, who passed away on November 23, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Helen "Choo Choo" Meinert; his children, Debra Konopko (Kevin), Travis Meinert, Elizabeth Stewart (Mike), Mary Foles (Charles Edwards) and Margaret Cunningham (Mike); his grandchildren, Leah, Marion Frizzell, Andrew, Richard (Kaleigh), Rachael Stewart, Peter, Lindsey Foles, Carolyn and Blake Cunningham; and his great grandchild Oliver Stewart.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard's name to the St Matthew Endowment Fund and the Notre Dame Drumline - O'Brien Band Fund (giveto.nd.edu).
