She is survived by: her husband John August Bassemier, Jr.; her children, Ann Cantrell (late Johnny) and David Bassemier (Kathy); her grandchildren, Tara Greene (Gary), Allison Gilbert (Charlie), Melissa Bassemier and Michael Bassemier (Kortney); her great grandchildren, Kylie Alburtus (Michael), Kameron Marquez, Emma, Cole Bassemier, Tripp, Kayleigh and Presley Gilbert; her great great grandchildren, Kahiapo Marquez and Gianna Lampo; her niece Diane Davis; her great-nephew Wayne Childs (Christine); her great-niece Annette Driscoll (Mike); her niece Rosemary Armbruster; her great-niece Jamie Harris (DW); her caregivers, Hannah, Gabby, Evonnie and Heather; Casey Claiborne (DJ), Brandy Driscoll (Justin), Emily Childs (Alex), Elizabeth Seitz (Noah) and Dominic Claiborne.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greenwood Funeral Home (5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Greenwood Funeral Home Chapel (5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A burial will be held on Saturday, December 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (5190 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124).
