C., Craig Sams Jr. (Sade), Devondrick Sams (Tamale) of Lake Arthur, LA and Jaylin Sams of Welsh, LA.; his brother Chad Lute Sr. (Mary); his aunt Katie Mae Jackson of Pasco, WA; his great-aunts, Lora Bell Edwards (Ivory) of Lake Charles, LA and Jeanolia Sherman of Shreveport, LA.; his grandchildren, Kaija C. Johnson, Treavon X. Johnson, Aaron J. Johnson, Zaquan M. Johnson, Langstyn D. Johnson, Harold J.
