We announce the death of Robert Earl Courville of Roanoke, Louisiana, who passed away on September 13, 2026, at the age of 92. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Marlene Carnahan Courville; his parents, Morris Sr. Courville and Melda Schexnider Courville; his stepmother Vinnes Courville; his siblings, Calvin Courville and Mary King; and his brothers-in-law, Ned Carnahan, Don King, Jim Bolick and Errol Daigle.
He is survived by: his children, Corda, Cleaton Leger, Karen, Gary Boudreaux, Jody Touchet, Byron Champagne, Dana, Greg Young, Christy and Donald Pickle (Joyce Courville); his siblings, Jay Courville, Rita Bolick and Alice Daigle; and his siblings-in-law, Lollie and Don Klein. He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miguez Funeral Home (114 E Shankland Ave, Jennings, LA 70546). A rosary was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 209 N Adams St, Welsh, LA 70591.
