It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Bigelow Lipscomb (Ruston, Louisiana), who passed away on September 2, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Bigelow (Eichelberger) and Palmer Bigelow; and her brothers, Bill and Ned. She is survived by: her sons, Jim (Mary) and Ed (Linda); her grandchildren, Jennifer, Melissa, Ben and Laura; her sister Pat Tomlinson of New York; her sister-in-law Muffie Bigelow of Massachusetts; and her great grandchildren, Jackson, Grant, Lucy, Max, Josie, Ernie, Ralph and Martez.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to John Knox Presbyterian Church, or to the Lincoln Parish Library Bookmobile.
