With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bonnie Sue Dobbs of Ruston, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 1, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Bonnie Sue may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bonnie Sue touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Dobbs (Myrtle Smith Proctor) and Bonnie "Sue" Dobbs; her husband Thomas Rasse Dobbs; and her daughter Betty Lynn Skelton. She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Blanton Pagan (Tony Pagan) of Bradenton, Florida; her grandchildren, Steve Towne, Jr. (Corrine) of Cleveland, Texas, Teresa Jordan (Josh Jordan) of Ruston, Louisiana and Gino Palmieri (Tamara Palmieri) of Eupora, Mississippi; and her great grandchildren, Steven Towne III, Sheena Towne, Tyler Mann, Ariana Towne and Lola Cooper.
