He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray S. Telford and Vera Mabry Telford; and his sister Betty Telford Sorey. He is survived by: his wife Joy Hinton Telford of Ruston, LA; his son Brice Telford (Christina); his grandchildren, Connor Telford and Gretchen Telford of Prairieville, LA; his sister Pat Hobson of West Monroe, LA; and his siblings-in-law, Douglas Hinton (Donna) of Jacksonville, FL and Carole (Mike Davis) of Ft. Collins, CO. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews, and a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Owens Memorial Chapel (2300 W California Ave, Ruston, LA 71270). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ruston Church of Christ (2300 Woodward Ave, Ruston, LA 71270). A committal service was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (2500 W California Ave, Ruston, LA 71270).
