She is survived by: her children, Otis Lynn Brown (Karen) and Tammie Brown Oakes (Jim); her grandsons, Derek Brown (Elizabeth), Christopher Brown (Stratton), John Oakes, Ty Oakes (Katelyn) and Matt Oakes (Lori); her great grandchildren, Jordyn Brown, Parker Brown, Elliot Brown, Murphy Brown, Zoey Brown and William Oakes; her caregiver Amy Vance of Premier Hospice; her friend Edna Turner; Doris Satcher Gilbert.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Ruston.
