He was predeceased by: his parents, Ester Edwards Andrews and Eldon Tyra; his brother Norman Tyra; and his grandparents, Willie Edward, Ruby Edwards, Forest Tyra and Zella Tyra.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Deana Thomas of Ruston; his sisters, Debbie New of Columbia, MS and Wanda Tyler of Asheville, NC; his daughter Robbyn Tyra of Victoria, TX; his stepchildren, Sabrina Young (Jason) of Simsboro, LA and Chad Thomas of Shreveport, LA; his grandchildren, Kareline Frechette (Callum) of Simsboro, LA and William Young of Simsboro, LA; and his great grandchild Brooklyn Frechette. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
