He was predeceased by: his parents, Loy Leon Staples and Kathleen Andrews Staples; and his brother James Staples. He is survived by: his granddaughters, Morgan Staples and Tiffany Books; his siblings, Leon Staples (Vicki), Kathy (Gary Wedeking) and Donna (Jake Ambrose); his sister-in-law Jackie Staples; and his former wife Debbie Staples. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
