He is survived by : his wife Lucy Wideman Sexton; his son David Sexton (Christina); his grandchildren, Joseph, Daniel and Hannah; his daughter Rachel Sexton Kenney; his grandchildren, Riley and Cole; his son John Mark Sexton; and his brothers, Ed Sexton (Carole) of Baton Rouge, Don Sexton (Patty) of Nashville, Tenn and George Whitfield of Goldsboro. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
