He was predeceased by: his sons, Scott Colvin White (Rhonda White) and Samuel Burgess White III; his parents, Samuel Burgess White Sr. and Dorothy Dillon Goodwill White; his sister Ann White Carter; and his brother-in-law Bill Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Kay Colvin White; his son Steve White (Mary Jane); his grandchildren, Lexi White Burch (Garrett Burch), Brad White, Dillon White, Aubrey Prewitt and Laura White Cupp (Bryan Cupp); his great grandchild Emory Kay Cupp; his daughter-in-law Neice White; Cal, Joyce Colvin, Don and Alisha Colvin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Episcopal Church (504 Tech Dr, Ruston, LA 71270). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
