With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Ray Cooper in Saint Amant, Louisiana, born in Pasco, Washington, who passed away on June 1, 2025 at the age of 69. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald Ray Cooper to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Cooper and Mary Cooper; his brother Ronald Morgan Cooper; and his brother-in-law Aykut Kazan. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Cooper; his daughters, Amy Cooper Constant (Willis) and Sandy Cooper Wendt (Jesse); his siblings, Richard Cooper (Mary Ann), Charline "Cheenie" Templet (Terry) and Mary Gail Kazan; his siblings-in-law, John Ronkartz (Nancy) and Karen Ronkartz; his parents-in-law, J. W. and Effie Ronkartz; and his siblings-in-law, Shelia and Ed Hughes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the New River Baptist Church (45270 LA-429, St Amant, LA 70774). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
