He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor John Gautreau and Agnes Babin Gautreau; and his siblings, Argelie Kling, Herman Gautreau, Wilbert Gautreau, Dick Gautreau, Verbie Porrier and Agnes Becnel.
He is survived by: his significant other Annette Tucker; and his son Doyle "Chip" Matthew Gautreau, Jr. (Ann Crawford). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (44450 LA-429, St Amant, LA 70774). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at the same location.
