He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Vicknair and Emile Braud; and his siblings, Marie Braud, Elsie May Braud, Gloria Kilburn, Bobby Baudoin, Nora Louque and Lester Braud.
He is survived by: his wife Linda M. Braud; his son Michael J. Braud (Donna Braud); his siblings, John Braud (Troy Braud), Charlie Ray Robertson (Barbra Robertson), Winnie West and Roxanna Kreamer (Mike Kreamer); his granddaughters, Kelsey Braud (Paul Randazzo Jr.) and Alicia M. Braud (Chris Cashio); and his stepgrandchildren, Renee Anstatt, Jenna Guerra (Bert Guerra), Joey Lessard and Travis "TJ" Lessard Jr.. He is also survived by his six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the The Church International (13423 LA-431, St Amant, LA 70774). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the The Church International (13243 LA Highway 431, St Amant, LA 70774).
