Matthew Moran Obituary

We announce the death of Matthew Moran of Saint Amant, Louisiana, who passed away on August 4, 2026, at the age of 84. Matthew will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosalie Ann Moran and Telesmar Paul Moran, Sr.; his brothers, Telesmar Moran, Jr. and Thomas Moran; his grandson Hunter Roberts; his brother-in-law Jimmy Berthelot; his nephew Troy Berthelot; and his niece Rhonda Murphy.

He is survived by: his children, Tracy Benzine (Randy), Terrell Moran (Melissa) and Todd Moran; his grandchildren, Bryce Benzine, Jamie Moran White, Jada Moran, Jennifer Faulkner and Taylor Thomas (Justin); his great grandchildren, Baylor White, Ellianna White, Kace Rouyea, Emmorie Thomas, Talon Thomas, Addie Faulkner and Aidyn Faulkner; his siblings, Myrtis Berthelot, Ronald Moran (Catherine), Ralph Moran (Cheryl), Constance Frederic (David) and Kathy Moran (Randy); and his sisters-in-law, Bernadine Moran and Diana Moran. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
