She was predeceased by: her husband Dudley Mire Sr.; her parents, Marshall Bourgeois and Virginia Bourgeois; and her siblings, Ruth Bourque, Audron "Poochie" Bourgeois and Aline Bourgeois.
She is survived by: her children, Wanda Mire, Lynette McGrew and Dudley Mire Jr.; and her sister Darline Brignac. She is also survived by grandchildren; great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
