He was predeceased by: his parents, Ova Broussard and Doris Hemphill Broussard; and his children, Johnny Pomares III and Ashley Pomares Forbes. He is survived by: his wife Josie Broussard; his daughters, Tasha Dupre (Gaines), Melissa Bahlinger (Rus) and Skylar Landry; his grandchildren, Blake Anderson, Brooke Anderson, Peyton Bahlinger (McKenzie), Grace Bahlinger, Masyn Winningham, Bella Winningham, Josh Pomares Browning and Jacob Pomares Browning; and his great grandchildren, Greyson Harper, Liam Pettit, Abel Pettit, Priscilla Rouyea and Drew Bahlinger.
