He is survived by: his wife Carol Perez Nunez; his sons, Michael and Jeffrey; his daughter-in-law Julie Truax Nunez; his grandchildren, Claire Nunez (Dallas), Adam Nunez of Greensboro, NC, Matthew Nunez (Houston), Ava Nunez of Chapel Hill, NC, Christian Nunez (Chapel Hill) and James Nunez (Chapel Hill); and his siblings, Erroll Nunez (Charlotte) and Janet Nunez Keller (Ronnie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home (701 W Virtue St, Chalmette, LA 70043). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
