He was predeceased by : his parents, Mario Juan Huy, Sr. and Josephine Burke Huy; his siblings, Dino Huy Sr. and Josephine Perry Sortino; and his brother-in-law Kevin Hume Sr. (Mitsy Hume).

He is survived by : his wife Julie Pabst Huy; his daughters, Jennifer Huy Lewis and Susan Huy Anglin; his sons-in-law, Richard "Richie" Lewis and Travis Anglin; his granddaughters, Taylor Anglin Kramer (Kevin) and Madison Josephine Lewis; his great grandchildren, Katherine and Jaxson Kramer; and his brother Mario Huy Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
