With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anthony John Nata Sr. of Saint Bernard, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on August 7, 2022 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by : his parents, Reneldear Francis Nata, Sr. and Antoinette Cuccia Nata; his former life partner Patricia Matherne Nata; his son Jesse Michael Nata, Sr.; his grandchildren, Anthony John Nata, III and Ali Patricia Nata; and his brother George Francis Nata, Sr..

He is survived by : his wife Edith Matherne Nata; his children, Anthony John Nata, Jr. (Tina) and Antoinette Nata Howell (Howie); his grandchildren, Caleb Hogue, Chelsea Howell, Chasity Howell, Christin Howell, Jesse Nata, II and Hunter Christoffer; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Adalynne, Elijah and Caleb; his daughter-in-law Allison Nata (Sean); his siblings, Reneldear "Blue" Nata, Joseph Nata, Sr. (Diane), Geraldine "Jerry" Jennings and Janice Nata Lee Parrino (Ed); and his stepchild Seventeen. He is also survived by Seventeen step grandchildren, and two step great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
