It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bettie Jo- Gallardo Melerine of Saint Bernard, Louisiana, who passed away on September 29, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Henry Gallardo (Punk) and Gloria Serigne Gallardo; her children, Shelley Mary Melerine and Craig Joseph Melerine; her granddaughter Kaitlyn Elizabeth Bertaut Lacour (Brandon); her great grandchildren, Brandon Michael Lacour, Jr. and Blake Michael Lacour; her siblings, Malvina Gallardo Gallodoro (Steve) and Henry Gallardo (Cindy); and also Dwight Melerine. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
