He is survived by : his sister Adelia Barcia (Alphonse); his spouse Beverly Nehlig Mayard; his children, Beverly, Bonnie and Edmar (Deborah Jeanmarie); his grandson Robert Mayard; and his great grandchildren, Blaise Bourgeois (Chelsea), Jonathan Bourgeois, Jennifer Berger (Travis), Daniel Owens (Loren), Jessica Concienne (Josh), Matthew Ostendorf (Autumn), Alvin Ostendorf III, Dustin Mayard (Jennifer), Mitchell Mayard (Jenna), Brynn Bourgeois, Claire Bourgeois, Draven Owens, Amelia, Adrian, Benjamin Concienne, Kurt Ostendorf, Anastasia Rogers, Alex Ostendorf, Destiny Ostendorf, Milo Ostendorf and Ada Mayard.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carpenter Chapel Church. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
