She was predeceased by : her husband Charles "Chuck" Lee Smith; her mother Mae DeoGracias Nunez; and her siblings, Esther Gonzales, Evelyn Brooks, Augustine "Tina" Cantrelle, Alfred J. Nunez, Gerald Nunez and Clifton Nunez.

She is survived by : her brother Allen J. Nunez (Janet). She is also survived by many cousins, relatives and dear friends.
