We are sad to announce that on August 27, 2020, at the age of 87, Jean D. Velez of Saint Bernard, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Louise Bethancourt Laudumiey and Marion Joseph Laudumiey; her son Marc Velez; her sister Diane Laudumiey Walsh of St. Louis; and her sibling-in-law Thomas F. Walsh.

She is survived by: her close friend Charlie Rogers; her son Bruce Velez; her sister Lynne Laudumiey Masinter of Metairie, LA; and her brother-in-law Donald Masinter. She is also survived by granddaughter as well as nieces and nephews.
