She was predeceased by : her son John Melerine Jr.; her parents, William Cantrell and Odile Ruiz Cantrell; and her siblings, William B. Cantrell, Jr., Emile Cantrell, Norman Cantrell, Leon Cantrell, Bobby Cantrell, Bernice Hanzo, Mary Alice Matlock, Elvia Schubert, Clair Rita Estopinal, Lorraine Darce, Ethel Gagliano, Joan Fraychinaud, Earline Cantrell and Linda Lobre.
She is survived by : her husband John D. Melerine, Sr.; and her sons, Robert Broadhead, Jr. (Cindy), Jeffery Broadhead, Brian Broadhead (Rose) and Mark Broadhead. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
