It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Lawrence Oalmann of Saint Bernard, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on October 13, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Agnes Luquet Oalmann and Joseph William Oalmann, Sr.; and his siblings, Louis Oalmann, Earl Oalmann, Sr., Mae Oalmann Schultz, Agnes Oalmann Schule, Joseph Oalmann, Harold Oalmann and Raymond Oalmann.
He is survived by : his wife Rita Williams Oalmann; his daughters, Patricia Oalmann Espiritu and Laurie Oalmann Menesses (Louis, Jr.); his brother Gerald Oalmann; his grandchildren, Esteban Robert Espiritu (Ariel), Emily Espiritu Melerine (Chris), Macie Menesses Sullivan (Andrew) and Evan Robert Menesses (Karlie); and his great grandchildren, Aliyah Espiritu, Hayden Espiritu, Hanna Espiritu, Noah Espiritu and Kobi Shay Melerine. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
