With solemn reverence, we commemorate Charles Bennett of Saint Francisville, Louisiana, whose life came to an end on October 10, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Captain Philip Morris Bennett, Sr. and Helen Valin Bennett; and his wife Johnnie Lou Welch Bennett. He is survived by: his daughter Christi Bennett Sykes of St. Francisville; his granddaughter Erin Sykes Hoffmann (Jake) of Slidell; and his siblings, Philip Morris Bennett, Jr., James Wallace Bennett, Martha Bennett Senter, Irma Bennett Bryant, Betty Ruth Bennett Rinaudo and Shirley Bennett Hicks. He is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Mt Carmel Catholic Church (11485 Ferdinand St, St Francisville, LA 70775). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Building Fund or Julius Freyhan Foundation.
